Posted 8th January 2010 Bell's Bakers, Shotts installed two ENERSHIELD air barriers to seal the door openings and stop moisture contained in the ambient external air from entering their freezer room. This warm air, laden with moisture, condenses forming frost and ice if it is not stopped from entering the freezer room. The problem was occuring mostly when the access doors were open. The before and after photographs clearly show how successful the installation has been.

Pictured below is the latest Air barrier installed by CPA. This unit is in the Factory of Strathmore Mineral Water, part of the AG Barr Group. Donald Fyfe, Chief Engineer at the Forfar Plant, explained that "the barrier has allowed the isolation of two 27.5 kw Heaters in one section of the factory. The energy saved less the energy (15KW) used for the Enershield has made the return on investment (ROI) a 6 months pay back". One of the other added benefits is that the factory staff have commented that the area, where the barrier is installed, is now noticeably warmer than before.
Posted 25th March 2009 Steven Jeffrey of CALCARB LTD. explained that "the Enershield air barrier was purchased to minimize the risk of carbon dust into our CNC control panel. this has been a major success: it appears that no dust is entering the clean room. The initial cost to Calcarb on replacement parts within the control panel was in excess of 45k: we haven't seen a drive card failure within the panel of this year which is tetament to the effectiveness of the air curtain"

Pictured below is the latest installation of Enershields Microshield air barrier. This unit is installed at a reception entrance in the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow Essex. The installation of this unit is to continue the energy efficiency work Mr Bill Dickson is carrying out at this NHS hospital.
Independent Glass became the first customer within the Uk and Ireland to install the Enershield Air Barrier into their Glasgow site. The site Engineering Manager is delighted that even in the Scottish Summer they are feeling the benefit of the unit running both financially (saving on their Heating costs) and on a comfort basis (staff are experiencing it warmer now when the enershield is on and the door is open) This Lorry requires a clearance height of 4 meters.

The Picture shows a Distribution Centre with the installation of an Air Barrier. This was installed to seal the door to save energy and allow forklifts to operate without having to stop for doors to operate. The two rooms have different temperatures and energy is lost when the two temperatures are allowed to transfer. The "ZIP" door simply could not keep up with the amount of operation required.
